The fact that the not-to-be-named “family association” has the balls to pressure Lowes into pulling their advertising from TLC’s “All-American Muslim” is an affront to human decency in general. Stewart sums it up with a choice clip from the association’s director, with “It’s the absence of the radical side of the imam’s proposition of sharia...

EA and Origin screw me again
So coming off my last EA/Origin rant, I had hoped that they might have cleaned up their act and made things a little bit nicer for the user come Star Wars The Old Republic. Sadly, it seems I’ve been screwed by EA and Origin yet again. Surprisingly though, their screwing me was actually accomplished months ago and I didn’t even realize it until today.
Bought on Origin, but not...

Rant about EA's BF3
Battlefield 3 is here, and it’s amazing. The graphics are top notch, the game play is fairly solid, and the whole experience is stellar. Well that last part is a lie. The lie is in how we the consumer have been duped into thinking that by spending our hard earned (and in many cases recession limited) cash for triple A titles means a smooth experience from start to finish. In Battlefield...

NaBloPoMo Fail
So yeah, I totally failed on posting daily this year, but I have a good excuse. New York City is just too much of a draw for me spend time on posting. Between working all day and sleep, I only have so much time to enjoy the city that I never know when I’ll be able to visit again.

A writer’s job is to tell the truth.
– Just a month after his retirement from 60 minutes, my favorite writer Andy Rooney passes away.
He had a huge impact on both my writing style and my personality type in general, making me much more of a sarcastic old man than I should be at my relatively young age.
God Speed Andy Rooney. The...

Dia de Los Muertos
Today is the annual Dia de Los Muerto, the Day of the Dead. It’s a hispanic holiday that’s spread to many cultures all over the world.
It’s a bit of a fun holiday to me, where we revere those who had died. One would think it would be a somber celebration, but in fact, it’s a celebration of life and remembrance of our ancestors.
Family and friends may have passed over...

It's another Year of NaBloPoMo
Well another November is here, so that means another month of my attempts to post every single day…by midnight…with something relevant.
I guess once again, the first posting is a posting saying I’m going to be posting.
How meta is that.
